Greenwald Exposes NPR, NSA, & Media Matters

Received this email and accompanying links from a faithful reader:
What happened to the George W Bush days when leftists were supposedly against Big Brother and mocked the neo-cons for fear mongering with the terrorism threat?
"NPR Is Laundering CIA Talking Points to Make You Scared of NSA Reporting."
NPR aired a report that terrorists have been able to defeat NSA spying attempts thanks to the Snowden reporting. The only problem? NPR neglected to mention that the company that was the source for the report receives millions of dollars from the CIA and federal government!
NPR defenders might say it was just sloppy reporting, but the article demonstrates that she already knew this from a report two years ago. What is also unfortunate for the "reporter" is that the Snowden docs themselves detail how years before any leak by Snowden that terrorists knew about NSA monitoring and had developed encryption techniques. No wonder why the government and media did not want these files revealed! What BS artist likes to be proven wrong?
Lastly, I thought the left also opposed questioning patriotism and loyalty to one's nation from the Red Scare era or the Bush era? The regime loving and 2nd amendment hating Media Matters pulled off an impressive display of mccarthyism with these tweets attacking Greenwald and Snowden from the creepy Oliver Willis:
"he should be hugging the russian flag, or maybe putin himself"
"Putin approved! Hope u get a nice place in Crimea"
Here are the hilarious Greenwald responses on twitter:
"Media Matters employee: one-stop shop for McCarthyite innuendo & stupidity…"
"Media Matters employee: we determine who is and is not a Real American"

The best aspect of the Snowden leak story is not that the NSA was caught spying on everyone, but instead showing the close relationship between the federal government and the media. How many times have major media figures been caught blatantly lying about the NSA story?

NPR being the American Pravda is no huge surprise, but seeing Media Matters resort to Russia Baiting to distract from what Dear Leader is doing with the NSA is hysterical!
