Open Letter of Warning to Governor Nixon From Missouri Oath Keepers

The militarization of our police is not a "black problem." It's an American problem, and it affects all of us. Senator Rand Paul is right. We must demilitarize our police. Governor Nixon, you stand at a critical moment in history. You must reverse course and set the example for other states to follow, to demilitarize our police and bring police methods back within the bounds of the Constitution. A failure to do so will further place millions of us American veterans who still take our oaths seriously on a fateful collision course with a burgeoning police state that is going down the same road that other nations have traveled, with tragic ends. Our grandfathers and fathers fought against totalitarian police states overseas. Please don't force us to fight against one here at home. Demilitarize the police now, and let us all live in peace under the Constitution, with liberty, and justice, for all.

Nixon is a clueless piece of crap democrat. If the SOB read The Constitution, he wouldn't understand it or be able to relate to it.

I, too, doubt this will have any effect. What it DOES point out is that there are ways to have handled this mess (and much more effectively!) than what was done.

What's lacking here is the desire to solve the problem, because the problem "allows" TPTB to go where they want to go with regard to our natural rights.

Missouri Oathkeepers huh? I gotta ask, what exactly did you plan on changing, accomplishing? I have read thru it twice now and I still can't figure out why you wrote it. Do you actually think that they (MO). L E is going to change their tactics because of this letter? If memory serves is MO not one of the States that got that letter from DHS about all us bitter cling ers? A cop killed a citizen, there has to be an investigation. The investigation will probably show a justified killing, it usually does whether that is the case or not.

I don't like militarized police either, the powers that be don't care what I like or dislike. It's a great distraction though from the huge list of problems that are taking a back seat because of this crap.

We shall soon see I suspect .... We shall see

I'm not completely sure what the point of this letter is. To 'warn' the MO governor about fielding 'militarized' police or tell him they're own militarized members could control the crowd better.

Oath keepers (cough cough): Lead, follow or get out of the way!
